Creative Thinking - Are You At A Competitive Edge

Creative Thinking - Are You At A Competitive Edge?Have you ever thought about what creative thinking is? Do you remember learning about it in a classroom setting, but never fully understood it? Creative thinking is a tool that can help us overcome any problem that we are facing. It can open up doors of opportunity to help us obtain more money and do more with our lives.Sometimes when we are feeling down or stuck in our jobs, we get lost in a very chaotic situation with public policy, commerce, politics and life in general. When we lose our focus on a specific situation, we begin to feel overwhelmed. Some people start to lose hope, while others become extremely frustrated with what is happening. It is not uncommon for those who find themselves in a bad situation to act in a manner they would not ordinarily. Some of the things we could think of would include acting in a confrontational manner, talking to strangers and even abusing our emotions. The truth is, those who engage in these be haviors will find they have an open door for financial success. The goal is to think of creative ways to work around obstacles that may be making it difficult for us to reach our goal.We may begin to think of creative ways to get out of debt, or find a new way to make money. Instead of putting it off until we are unable to meet a deadline, we can focus on a solution. We may think of the old saying, 'The past is the worst teacher but the future is the best.'Creative thinking is an incredible tool that we can use to better ourselves. If we utilize it to properly focus on the present, we can start to see a path to success. There is always the ability to think of new solutions. However, this ability to think of ways to eliminate a problem can often bring challenges that we will have to face.Theimportance of having someone to lean on in times of trouble has been emphasized over the years by the National Alliance for the Mentally Ill. They feel that those with creative thinkers are at a g reater advantage than those with creative-thinking abilities that are more analytical. Because those with creative thinking are not purely analytical, they are able to do their job well and excel at it.In the words of Shirley Jackson, a writer who had quite a creative side, 'An artist's mind does not develop in a way that suits the mathematician's body.' Indeed, if you consider that artists and mathematicians are two different fields, there is definitely a need for this skill. What is true is that creative thinkers need to learn to tap into their creative juices in order to come up with ideas to help themselves or others.Using this skill can help a creative thinker have a competitive edge, and they can apply this edge to make a difference in society. Whatever area of your life you are interested in, the ability to think creatively can be the key to the success that you seek. Think of creative thinking as a tool that can help you achieve more.
